New Jersey’s Gold Coast consists of distinct cities in Bergen and Hudson County. Today, the Gold Coast is primarily made up of established urban communities that were once industrial / commercial in nature throughout the 20th century. Our areas of expertise along the New Jersey Gold Coast are Jersey City, Hoboken, Union City, Weehawken, West New York, North Bergen, and Bayonne.

Hoboken, NJ is an urban community that is casual and sophisticated, as well as relaxed and upbeat. Real estate options consist of detached, single-family homes, condominiums, townhouses, and apartments. Located within Hudson County on the banks of the Hudson River, Hoboken is close to Manhattan, New York City, Weehawken Cover, Union City and Jersey City. Major roadways such as Interstates 95, 78, 280 and 495 are quickly accessible and link Hoboken residents to almost anywhere they need to go. Additionally, Hoboken is not only entirely walkable, but its public transportation system including NJ Transit buses, trains, and the PATH makes the unique city very convenient.
Hoboken’s 40,000-plus population enjoys this central location and the city’s diverse selection of amenities, properties and things to do. Days can be filled with shopping, entertainment, community festivals, socializing and networking. Business and interest groups are many, and new residents have little trouble finding a way to meet and interact with their new neighbors. In April 2009, The new Starwood Hotel called the world famous and luxury “W Hotel” will be opening on the Hudson River bank in downtown Hoboken offering over 130 hotel rooms and over 20 residential units.
Notably, Hoboken has the distinction of being the birthplace of Frank Sinatra; some also argue that the city hosted the first official baseball game. Landmarks in Hoboken include Castle Point, Hoboken Historical Museum, Stephens University, and Marine View Plaza. In 2008, Hoboken was voted by CNN the Best Place to Live for singles over 30. The city has its own public school district, Hoboken Public Schools, which consists of two middle schools, three primary schools and Hoboken High School. Several private schools and two charter schools provide even more options for Hoboken families. Recently Hoboken High School was listed as the number 2 most advanced high school (per rank) in New Jersey.
Jersey City has a large population (240,055) that is extremely diverse, constantly growing, and has easy access to transportation of all kinds. This virtually guarantees that if there isn’t already a market here for your products or services, there soon will be.
According to U.S. Census bureau figures compiled by the State Department of Labor and Workforce Development, in 2005 the New York-Northern New Jersey-Long Island Standard Metropolitan Statistical Area (SMSA) ranked 8th in the country for personal income and per capita personal income.

Some major landmarks in Jersey City are Port Liberte, Newport, JP Morgan Building, Morgan Stanley Building, among numerous financial district highrises mirroring the Financial District of New York City which is directly across the Hudson River. The Newport section is growing dramatically offering one of the finest shopping malls in the state in addition to its convenient public transportation, access to the entire tri-state, and one of the most affluent cities in America with its fine dining, shopping, and entertainment.
